George's sisters adore their new baby doll. They like to "choose out" his clothes and "unstrap" his diaper. They are very patient with him, especially Mary Kate. If he is fussing they will sing to him and stoke his cheek and hair - which feels like velvet.

Mary Kate chopped all the strawberries herself with a safety knife (as sharp as a nail file).
Mary Kate is very serious about summer. Brent had a stomach bug last week and she did not want to take a chance of getting sick too and ruining summer. We're keeping summer hours sleeping in and taking our meals much later than the usual hour. Friends lent us a stack of movies. We are blowing through those and iTunes rentals. Our top picks so far: The Sound of Music, Gremlins and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Next up: Annie.
Mary Kate spent an entire morning making a treasure hunt. The final destination was Hawaii. I like the sound of that destination. Here are the girls in their hula outfits with the volcano.

The girls are growing so much! Caroline looks so cute holding George. Mary Kate did a great job cutting up those strawberries! The treasure hunt sounds like it was a blast and very cute decorations for the final destination. Sounds like you are having a fun summer!! =)
