Come on over...
Wreath either awesome or gaudy...
Flags and more flags...
George helped...
Menu:
Fried Chicken
Potato Salad
Texas Caviar Salad
Mixed Berry Salad
Fresh Veg Tray
Sliced White Bread
Coke & Dr Pepper
Coke & Dr Pepper
The menu had a southern flare.  Frying 80 pieces of chicken is not difficult - just time consuming - about 4 hours.  My not so secret recipe - egg, flour and season salt.
Dessert Table
Lola's Cupcakes had perfect 4th of July boxes in red velvet and vanilla big and minis.  Ice cream in red wrappers.  3 kilos of red, white and blue jelly beans to eat and take home in stripey bags.  The three empty bowls were full  (and refilled) of jelly beans - George's dinner was jelly beans.
George's birthday party was incorporated into the party...
The 4th it was work and school as usual.  But I am happy we could celebrate with our American friends in London!

You do know how to throw a great party -- the food looks divine! Is it a sin that I've never made fried chicken?
