Thanks to Leslie, this sandwich is my latest food obsession. She shared one with me when she was here last week. I must eat one everyday.
Over the weekend, I made them for the family for lunch. I even made the pesto. I would eat one now but we do not have bread or tomatoes. I know what I am having for lunch tomorrow...

Ok, my grandma and I tried this tonight and it was really, really good! It tastes just like an Amy's pesto pizza we used to like. Tonight is our 13th anniversary, and I spent it eating sandwiches at home without Brad while cleaning up O's throw up. Not exactly ideal, but it WAS a great sandwich at least!
